I found this report "A10 Operations and the Battle for North Norway 1988" a few years ago so naturally I am excited by the release of this map. Yes it is specific for the A10's deployment in the Kola region and a lot of useful information of the Soviet doctrine for the Kola in 1988. With the announced early access release I figured us Hawg drivers will have some fun with this info in ME. Enjoy https://www.rand.org/content/dam/rand/pubs/reports/2009/R3439.pdf

An update on DCS: Kola Map would be appreciated!
Rodeo replied to Larzei's topic in Orbx Simulation Systems
Everyone has the translation wrong. If you take into account the leap year and the angle of the solar eclipse divided by the difference between traditional Morse code tones and that of the modern tempo in the message the correct translation is … “TWOWEEKS” -

F-4E Phantom II Development Update and Release Delay Announcement
Rodeo replied to IronMike's topic in DCS: F-4 Phantom
At least with any ED pre-order I know at least I will eventually get a product… kickstarter not so much -
I’ve thought the same thing and watching some videos on others using pass-through I personally don’t think it is a feature I would use for “in-cockpit” however I can see benefits in ME and if you have to pause and adjust something.

F-4E Phantom II Development Update and Release Delay Announcement
Rodeo replied to IronMike's topic in DCS: F-4 Phantom
@IronMike thank you for the in-depth update. As the owner of a small innovation based company in a competitive industry I completely understand and have lived through the very same decisions you all at HB have been facing and making; again thank you and I am still as excited for your F-4 as I was day 1 of pre-order (personally really looking forward to your A-6 though ) One thing all of us in the DCS community need to remember is even the best funded and biggest publicly owned game developers suffer countless set backs and delays. I personally am amazed at the ED and DCS 3rd party developers and all they accomplish with very limited budgets and resources; these modules and maps are truly a passion project. Compared to the current drama at EA and Ubisoft the DCS content creators are Allstars in my book Cheers -

As long as we have Tal Afar and conduct the introduction to high-energy tactics in the AH-64 is good by me. https://coffeeordie.com/apache-pilot-kryptek *full disclosure both Butch and Josh are dear friends and the full story is amazing. Yes I am name dropping

First In, Last Out! F-4E Wild Weasel Trailer and Manual release!
Rodeo replied to IronMike's topic in DCS: F-4 Phantom
I’m thinking I’ll print the manual, stick it under my pillow and learn by osmosis … might be the only way to get it through my thick skull quicker
