Sennheiser USB-Soundcard GSX 1000 mic problem

Hello,

i use the GSX1000 and Win11. When i try the voice-chat in DCS i can hear everyone. But there is no reaction of my microphone. In the windows settings i can see that that dcs is using the mic. everything seems to be ok in windows. Every settings are made. Has DCS a problem with usb soundcards? I dont want to use the onboard soundcard.

Would be interesting to hear more about this. I'm also using an USB audio interface (TASCAM US-4x4), as is my buddy (IIRC Behringer UM2), and while our inputs are crystal clear over Discord and every other app, selecting the same audio devices we use in DCS leads to horrific buzzing noise and garbled voice during the mic test.

Ye, got similar issues with my usb headset. I guess coz it's a digital sound, that has to go through integrated soundcard so it clears out. DCS seems to get original low quality sound. What worked for me is to use rtx voice/broadcast so I can put rtx broadcast/voice as mic source in DCS and it fixes the problem.

I had the same issue on my end with a PCIe sound card. Had to use RTX voice as a workaround, but if I do that, my frame rate tanks when using Shadowplay. I don't know why DCS Voice Chat has such a hard time with audio inputs when every other program I use, including SRS, works fine.
