My MP server not visible when running 2nd screen

I'm occasionally using Splashtop WiredX Displaysoftware to use my iPad as a second monitor.  If I host a mission without the iPad connected and that software not running, then friends can see my server in the MP list and join that server.

However if I run a server but with the iPad connected and that software running, then my server is not visible on the MP page.  If they try a direct connect via IP address then I believe my friends get a message that the server is offline.  

I'm running Norton as my anti-virus and firewall, and I believe I have all the Splashtop application files as approved programs in Norton.

Would anyone have any tips on why hosting with Splashtop running for the second screen is preventing me from hosting a MP session?

I'm not familiar with Splashtop WiredX Displaysoftware, but the only explanation that makes sense is that the software makes another connection to send traffic to the tablet, and somehow that is causing problem to DCS.
just check, when you run the software and the display is on, if you have another connection in your network center.
