Only for seated VR (flight sim / sim racing), but so the Crystal weighs less than 800 grams. For more relief simply add more pulleys.

Never had any problems with the weight of the Pimax Crystal. Even so the idea is good, you should !!never!! ad the strap to the data cable, even so you have bound the flex strap too. 😉

Interesting, never tried pulleys on the headset but I'm also not really bothered by the weight.  I do highly recommend using VR pulleys on the cord and the Apache Comfort strap on the Crystal that is a game changer.
