yam Posted September 23, 2023 Posted September 23, 2023 Hi everybody, I am back in the cockpit of the mig21 for a long time! I have a strange feeling when I fly with it and I am pretty sure that it was not like that before. It has a strange behaviour, it is difficult to describe : when I pull a little stronger on the stick, the jet drift very hard in left or right like with the rudder. I have other jets in DCS and it is the only one who make this. It seems unrealistic... Of course I checked all my axis and everything is fine. Could you give my your opinion?
razo+r Posted September 23, 2023 Posted September 23, 2023 I guess you are pulling so hard you go over the critical AoA and stall at least one of your wings, resulting in that weird behaviour. But its hard to exactly pinpoint the issue without a video or track.

razo+r Posted September 23, 2023 Posted September 23, 2023 There have been some changes to the flight model in the past, at least in 2020 according to this changelog here: It may be possible that they have been further tuning the flight model a bit after.
