Help with a couple keyboard commands

Hi There,

 

Though I printed out a keyboard command list, I still cannot find the following items:

 

How do I use the mouse to move my view around the cockpit and STILL click items? It seems I can do one or the other but not both. Sometimes the game defaults to this but as soon as I switch to an outside camera, then back, the ability is gone.

 

Also, the other day I had lowered the targeting helmet (H) but then I was able to move it around with my mouse which was helpful. How on earth can I replicate that? What key does this?

Doing one or the other (toggle with alt-c) is the default behaviour. The fact that sometimes you can do both is actually a bug (ED said so a while back) - that's why the cursor is often in a weird place when it happens.

 

Some solutions are:

a) Bind a mouse button - one of the side ones maybe - to toggle between modes.

b) Press ESC twice to get into the bug state where you can do both - this might be fixed and is far from ideal!

c) Use a hat or (much better) TrackIR to look around, and then the mouse to click stuff.

 

TrackIR and mouse combo makes the startup sequence much easier :)
