After replacing the TM Warthog joystick base with the CM2 I'm very happy with the smooth movement and general feel, plus the sensitivity,  it has definitely improved my experience.  However I use it with a 150mm extension,  and the original Warthog grip. Due to the mass and the extension tube, it means that if you move the stick and let it go, it's nearly 15 seconds before it stops wobbling about.

I believe a couple of dampers (or maybe three in a triangle) would help this, and wonder if anyone has tried anything. I think I can come up with something using RC car suspension dampers but if there is something preexisting I'm interested

Cheers

Adjustments you can do to make stick centering better (with no wobble back and forth):

1. Use Extra Heavy springs. (BTW the link in the reply above leads to the spring for War-BRD base, not CM base).

2.Tighten down pre-tensioner screws.

3. Use Avia cams with Hard center.

Hope some of these adjustments were not tried by you yet.
