Steve Gee Posted October 19, 2023 Posted October 19, 2023 Gone from running default High settings with a few settings increased and averaging 50-80 FPS to ANY default setting being a constant stutter. Running 1080, so it's not like it's pushing a lot to start. I can run it ONCE after changing the graphic setting to any of the 3 for flat screens and my test mission, Spitfire in Free Flight at The Channel, runs buttery smooth for maybe 30 seconds then any attempt at a flyby view looks like thumbing through a photo album. One thing I noticed, once I get back to the Options screen, some of the new graphics settings are greyed out, no matter if they are on or off, depending on the default level I chose. Even default Low becomes a mess after the aforementioned 30 seconds. HoMeBoY Posted October 19, 2023 Posted October 19, 2023 Settings are grayed out if you are not running the MT version of DCS exe
Steve Gee Posted October 20, 2023 Author Posted October 20, 2023 Yes, I know. That's why I stated the selections were greyed out AFTER running a mission and I went back to the Options section. The lower right of my main screen tells me I'm on the MT version.
