Chops
What is the significance of the Preset 1, Preset 2, etc... Unit ID and Call Signs in the mission editor? In Wags' datalink setup video he has Preset 1 as GUNSLGR which he refers to as Battalion, and Preset 2 as HAMMER.. It appears that these names are not actually associated with any Apache flights in Wags' video, so they are just random names. Can we put the names of actual Apache flights that are in the mission in the Preset fields or should we just use random names? ED Team Solution Raptor9 Posted October 23, 2023 ED Team Solution Share Posted October 23, 2023 Starting on page 258 of the DCS AH-64D Early Access Guide, there are several examples of how these are used. You can name them however you want; they don't affect the function of the radios in any way. 1 Afterburners are for wussies...hang around the battlefield and dodge tracers like a man.
