frame rate in the 40s but scenery is very jittery

as above,  my fps is ok in vr but looking out the side the fast moving  scenery has always been jkittery. is thi s a frame time issue?
looking at the ingame frame counter sshows 20-30ms but i dont know if thats gpu to cpu or vice versa. gpu is maxed out btw

Hi eatthis,

you say your GPU is maxed out, this sounds like a GPU bottleneck, otherwise it would be utilized less. Anyway, your CPU is also quite old, so you need to show us some settings etc. to give an advice what you can do. My frametime is between 8-15 ms, but this is in 2D. But I have maxed out pretty much everything.

quite old? its a 5900x, ie 1 gen back lol i changed settigns and screwed everything up so leave it with me and il get back to you. 
i even tested EVERYTHING on min and it still jutters past if i look sideways btw

Do you have any mods activated?

im in vr, i lowered the pd to 1

and the jittering is the same?
