Gigabyte BIOS update wireless keyboard and mouse not responding

Recommended Posts

Maybe, this can help someone or remind me when I forget.

Long story short. Plug the USB mouse into the USB 3.1 port. Gigabyte Aorus master motherboard.

Long story. I noticed my EZtune CPU overclock wasn't working. Then I noticed the BIOS was very old. When I tried to manually overclock the CPU, I couldn't bring up the BIOS. When I finally got into it, I couldn't do anything. After much frustration, the USB 3.1 port worked.

My list of crap software:

When I did the Sept BIOS update, I think the same thing happened to me. I had to go back to a wired keyboard and re-pair my bt keyboard and mouse.

My mouse & kb are usually wired and plugged into a USB20 port and I never had those issues with Gigabyte so far, also not on other GB boards.
