Teknetinium Posted March 10 Author Posted March 10 (edited) Dear participants and sponsors! Thank you all for your passion and energy! After careful consideration and discussions throughout the week, we have decided to revisit the roll-bug maneuver and provide clarification for all squads on how the bug will be judged in SATAC. Roll-bug clarification rules BVR: roll-bug in all aspects - NOT ALLOWED BVR: max rolling angle allowed - 450° per roll MERGE: within 10km - Free maneuvers JAMMERS: blinking manually or by macro - NOT ALLOWED. (5sec intervals) NOTE! Pilots accused of breaking the rules will be required to provide their server tracks for review. This ensures a fair and thorough assessment of the situation. If anyone is observed using the roll-bug systematically, it will be judged at any range, even within 10km. The decisions made by moderators on this matter are not up for disputes. We don't want to prohibit anyone from flying as they wish. It's natural that there will be grey areas, these grey areas will be subject to individual moderation, as every scenario is different. However, due to recent events, we find it necessary to implement these limits. While we encourage you to continue flying as you usually do, we kindly request that, especially when defending against missiles in BVR, you adhere to the rules mentioned above. Group A 1st: Team Wadafak(USA/International) 2nd: =DDCS=(International) Group B 1st: 51st PVO Regiment(USSR) 2nd: GunGunGun(China) Group C 1st: ECM(China) 2nd: Phoenix Task Force(Pakistan/EU) Group D 1st: Eclipse Task Force(International) 2nd: Air Combat Role Play(Thailand) Group E 1st: EFF(International) 2nd: -343ku-(Japan) Group F 1st: 364th FTQ(USA/International) 2nd: Garuda virtual air Wing(Indonesia) Group G 1st: inSky(China) 2nd: 25th Werehouse(International) Group H 1st: TAW(International) 2nd: BFG(International) Significant changes are on the horizon as we transition into the knockout stage. One of the most notable adjustments is the introduction of LotATC GCI support, while AWACS-fed datalink will be disabled. We kindly ask all qualified teams to designate a squad captain and have them reach out to me for their well-deserved LotATC and Tacview Advanced keys. In addition to LotATC integration, we are transitioning to a best-of-five rounds setup to provide teams with a genuine opportunity to adapt to the new format and ensure consistency in outcomes. As a result, there will be adjustments to the usual start times due to the increased number of rounds played. The updated schedule will be available shortly. This week will primarily focus on preparing the winning squads for the knockout stage and setting up the LotATC integration. We kindly request that qualified squads appoint a squad captain and have them message me for further coordination. Given the increased number of squads in the knockout stage this year, it's important to allow ample time for squads to adjust to the schedule. We'll plan accordingly to ensure a smooth transition and fair competition for all participants. We will need to sort all the LotATC/TacView prizes, missions, schedule, graphics and match pairings, that should take around two weeks if all go as planned. Once we release the schedule and missions, squads and streamers will have two weeks to prepare. Teknetinium Posted April 30 Author Posted April 30 (edited) Hello everyone! We have an update regarding the distribution of VKB prizes for SATAC. Initially, it was communicated that only the 1st place squad would receive VKB prizes. However, after careful consideration, we have decided to adjust this to better align with the SATAC concept. Now, the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place squads will each receive 2 prizes from VKB. This decision was made because the VKB prize package includes both a joystick and rudders, totaling 4 products per squad. We understand that not all pilots may wish to change their joystick or rudders, so we wanted to ensure that each squad has options that suit their needs. Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to seeing you all in the upcoming matches!
