Sun Brightness Issue

We just started playing on the Sinai map a couple days ago.  I'm getting some weird behavior where it is like the sun goes away for a few seconds.  The first screenshot is normal and the second is what I get occasionally.  Same loss of shadows inside or outside the cockpit view.  Comes on for maybe 10-15 seconds and then goes away.  Running 4090 with Pimax Crystal.
