windsurfingstew Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 (edited) I'm quite new to DCS and want to go out and practice my cannons. I set up a new mission and put some Su25s and Su27s on it. I set them to do 'NOTHING' (as opposed to CAS) other than follow their waypoints. However, in the game, when I get close to them, they evade me and do everything they can to avoid my fire. Any ideas on how to program enemy jets in a mission to just fly in a straight line and 'bend over and take' whatever I give them? And, as a secondary question, are they currently actively evading my attempts to target them by visuals or are they likely noticing my cannon locked by radar is on them? Solution razo+r Posted November 14, 2023 Solution Posted November 14, 2023 (edited) Press advanced waypoint options (below the "Add" button for waypoints) and set their ROE to hold fire and set reaction to threat to none. Add these two to the very first waypoint, waypoint 0 / DP. AI can react to both, you locking them or, if possible, by detecting you visually. Edited November 14, 2023 by razo+r 1
