draconus Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 DLAA has been huge success in DCS 2.9 - it is able to finally remove the most stubborn jaggies and get rid of any shimmering around the screen, however, not without sacrifices. There are some smudges and ghosting here and there - mostly seen on MFDs in the Tomcat. Hearing that it's kinda programmable feature, can HB try and improve DLAA quality on the F-14 display screens? Silhou Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 Hey @draconus! I tracked this for the devs to take a look when able. Thank you! 2 1
JCTherik Posted December 12, 2023 Posted December 12, 2023 +1 on that, also the yellow taped edges of the canopy window have the same ghosting issue, at least if we're talking about the same thing.
St4rgun Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Hey guys, anything news on this field? Actually the VDI and the HSD displays in the pilot seat and the TID in the RIO seat of the Tomcat in VR showing a very characteristic bug with DLAA: when I TURN my head (instad of PAN) then the displays are more or less stable, but upon PANing the displayed info badly slides and jitters sideways. What's interesting that the ECMD in the RIO seat does NOT showing this bug.
