Katash Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 First things first, I've used the search feature and not come across the answer so I'll go ahead and ask. I've mapped all my commands to a Black Shark profile within x52's software and it works great The only niggley little problem I have is this, I have cannon mapped to trigger first stage, pinkie+trigger activates cannon mode. Flippy trigger mapped to weap release, pinkie+flappy trigger = Master arm I love using the flappy trigger for vikhrs but find it difficult for FFAR's .... I tried mapping trigger stage 2 for weapon realease so if I was in non-cannon mode it would still fire the 'release weapons' It seems not to work in game tho. Anyone managed to acomplish this?
Brach Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 Check the post above about Mapping the X52 in DCS. We are trying to work out some oddities in the profiling of the X52 either through the SST software or through DCS. ;)
Slayer Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 It is because that when the first stage is pressed and you go to the second stage, the first is still sending input. Sounds like a great use for the 2nd stage though let me see if I can make it work. Ok, if you use a clear profile in the SST software and load that, you can use the second stage trigger without a problem. Also with the SST software if you make a full profile, you can use the second stage trigger without any problems (think you have to use the version 6.2.2 beta to be able to do this though, but not sure). So there are ways to use it, you just need to try the various options and see which one works best for you.
deadsmell Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 I have both stages programmed and working properly, however they have different functions than you desire. stage 1 wheel brakes, stage 2 cannon fire. Works great for me. Dont let the smell get to ya...............
