VincentRo Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 Hi! I tried to do the mission "night Patrol" but I crashed few minutes after take off, i didn't see anything... ^^ How can I toggle night vision goggles? I didn't see anything about it in the manual... thanks!!!
Lobo_63 Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 Youve got to request the NV goggles from your ground crew, same as refuelling... then toggle them with your helmet sight key. They swap your helmet sight for a NV setup.
VincentRo Posted March 21, 2009 Author Posted March 21, 2009 thank you so much Lobo i forgot the ground crew ^^ have good flights and nice day! I climb again in the cockpit with this facility ;) bye
zamboni Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 Hrmmm...did I do something wrong because even if I ask for the NVG, I still cannot turn them on. I have to tell the ground crew to hook up DC power and then activate the ground power switches from inside before they will turn on. Am I missing something here?
Cypher Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 1. Is your engine throttle set to auto? 2. Did you get the confirmation that the work is complete? www.15thMEU.net ARMA 2 Realism Unit [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
EvilBivol-1 Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 In night missions, the NVGs are provided to you by default (instead of the helmet sight). So, you don't need to request them. To turn on your NVGs, simply press 'H' (for 'Helmet'). Note, to get the best visibility, turn off all of your cockpit lights (except maybe the blue NVG cockpit lighting), turn down your ABRIS and HUD brightness, and turn up your NVG gain. - EB [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Nothing is easy.
