Trim off in the helicopter - a solution to smooth the transition to flying without trim.

The helicopter always moves uncontrollably at first when I set the trim to zero by pressing a button.
This is also understandable because the pedal then simply jumps to the zero position.
To prevent this, I have to move the pedal until it is approximately in the same position as I trimmed it.

How about if I release the trim by pressing the button, then move the pedal in the direction until I reach the position in which the pedal is.
Only then is the trim released again.

So I have to "pick up" the position first.

Would that be an idea?

Not sure what you mean. Which helicopter module, what settings and what kind of peripherals do you have? Resetting trim to zero is not realistic. Is that the behaviour you would like to change?
