192nd_Erdem Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 Yes you can. With lowest details and middle resolutions (1280x720, 1280x800) you should be able to get playable framerates(20-50). Also be sure to use the affinity trick(check DCSMax thread). You must do some tweaking to get medium settings with good framerates though.

Distiler Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 E5200 is 2.5Ghz not 2Ghz. And overclocks no problem to 3-4Ghz. I've set mine to 3Ghz. I play DCS at almost max settings, but I have a 9600. AMD Ryzen 1400 // 16 GB DDR4 2933Mhz // Nvidia 1060 6GB // W10 64bit // Microsoft Sidewinder Precision 2
nemises Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 no problems running the sim on that, I was running 1920x1280 , medium everything on a amd 4400+x2 (2.0 ghz!) 2GB mem and a 7800 GT , and it was perfectly playable (15 - 20 fps)
