HawkCZ6 Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 a) Once aircraft position (either latitude, longitude or both) is corrected during INS alignment, system altitude immediately resets to 0' MSL. b) When the position is entered before the alignment (or not at all) and the ME option "Cold aircraft needs GC alignment" is enabled, system altitude has an error of several hundred feet and as of now there is no way to correct it. Corrected position entered via UFC is also ignored in this case as discussed here: Bug is only noticable without EGI, since EGI always gets correct position and altitude. Only when SH alignment is available is system altitude correct (with either SH or GC alignment), unless the position is changed during alignment, which leads to scenario A.
