Batmensch Posted November 30, 2023 Posted November 30, 2023 I'm trying to get my new Virpil Ace Interceptor Pedal brakes working with DCS, specifically the Grinelli F-22A mod. None of the wheel brakes give me an option to bind to the pedals. The rudder itself seems to work fine. None of the Wheel Brake binds give me any options to choose, nor does the "F-22 Systems" brakes. Specifically, in the "F-22 Systems" "Wheel Brakes Both" option, when I hover over the "VPC Rudder Pedals" it says "No command available for this device", and double-clicking on it does nothing. It's currently bound to the keyboard "W" key. Under "Systems" there are three options to bind, "Wheel Brake Left", "Wheel Brakes On" and "Wheel Brakes Right", and although I can double click on them, they don't give me any options to choose, and they don't respond to my pressing the brake pedals on the Virpil device. I am running the latest 2.9 beta as of 11/30/2023. The pedals work fine in MSFS. I also have the latest version of the Virpil software, but it's kind of, well, opaque to me, other than simple calibration. Anyone have any experience with this?
Scott-S6 Posted November 30, 2023 Posted November 30, 2023 It sounds like you're looking at the digital binds, not analog. You can't bind an axis to a control that's looking for button/key press. Select the axis binds in the drop down at the top-left.
