Hexpul Posted December 6, 2023 Share Posted December 6, 2023 As the title says, I am trying to use the radar guided AG missile. I hot start, I take off I put the radar in stby for 5-10min, then when I turn the radar on you can see the backlight'ing light up but there is no ground clutter or radar contacts just a blank scope? zerO_crash Posted February 25 Share Posted February 25 (edited) KH-66 isn´t realistic on MiG-21Bis, however, if you still want to use it, here´s how: - Put the radar in "STDBY" for 10 minutes. - Take-off. - If you are doing a pure AG-mission, then put the radar into "beam"-mode. That is necessary for getting the ranging as well as guiding the missile towards your reticle. - Weapon selector switch to "S-24 RKT" - "1-2". - Reticle sight to "FIXED" - When you you engage, put the radar to "ON", reticle on target and fire away. Hold the reticle on target for as long as the missile flies. Shouldn´t be any problem, if you have done everything as per description above.
