Can someone tell me when BS deletes the temp folder contents?

The reason why is I reinstalled BS and had no cloud flickering with my both gpus on my 4870 X2 running. I installed a few mods using modman and I noticed the cloud flickering returned. I uninstalled all mods and still had the flickering. I started the computer up this morning and the flickering is gone. I have no idea if these two actions are related yet.

But if anyone has any feedback please post.

I have no idea which mod it was, if at all ( i'd rather not say at the moment which one I think might of been causing the problem) as I will test each one separately.

Disclaimer: I am not bashing any mods made by anybody here in the community, just trying to figure out my problem

Thanks,

Sam

The clouds flickering is multi GPU related only, so CF and SLI will give you flickering clouds. There are some drivers that give you clouds flicker all the time but some drivers show you the problem random. I think it has something to do with the rendering mode. Some drivers pick a rendering mode when you start a 3D application and this picking can alter.

You will see no benefit from enabeling CF so the solution is running one GPU in BS. Hit Ctrl/Backspace to display the FPS counter in the left upper corner while in game and see for you self. You can delete the Temp folder content manually, dont delete the folder only content ofcourse

I'm probably going to cause a stir but since upgrading to the 9.4 drivers I have had no cloud flickering at all. YMMV.
