EchoOneOne Posted January 8, 2024 Posted January 8, 2024 Any chance for an optional UHF/VHF radio and TACAN that meets NATO standards? (Picture of Polish 9.12 MiG as an example.) I know that you are working on the Russian MiG, but such an optional modification in ME would allow to enrich scenarios with NATO countries that still operate MiGs. Adding those features is not rocket science . 2 "Once a dragon always a dragon"
some1 Posted January 8, 2024 Posted January 8, 2024 Technically this unit still controls R-862 radio, but it has more memory for stored frequencies and direct entry by the pilot. The modifications to Polish MiG-29's navigation systems done in the early 2000's, around the time the country joined NATO, are a bit more extensive: Collins AN/ARN-153 (TCN-500) TACAN Collins ANV-241MMR VOR/ILS GPS Trimble 2101AP Western IFF 3 Hardware: VPForce Rhino, FSSB R3 Ultra, Virpil WarBRD, Hotas Warthog, Winwing F15EX, Slaw Rudder, GVL224 Trio Throttle, Thrustmaster MFDs, Saitek Trim wheel, Trackir 5, Quest Pro
