Triggerhappy69 Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 Nice setup mate..! Is that a mini joystick you've got there? And am I guessing correct when I say that you have to use axis to slew the skhval pipper diagonally..? If so I have an issue with my stick, and need to alter it.. "But (504)Brewber said they were'nt friendly.. So I took'em out.!" [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
hannibal Posted April 3, 2009 Author Posted April 3, 2009 =) well, that is the goal, you can try it out for your self, just map the horizontal and vertical shkval slew axis to your regular joystick and check it out... my F-15 HOTAS is coming.... find me on steam! username: Hannibal_A101A http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197969447179
Rockeyes Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 Nice work:). I’ve started something similar using the remains of an old joystick to interface but would like to use something like the Opencockpits master board allowing for expansion, not sure if it’s the right thing though as it looks like its only for MFS. How are you planning to interface the switches with the sim? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] HTC Vive Windows 10 Maximus VIII Hero i7-6700k CPU @ 4.2GHz 16GB Nvida GeForce GTX 1080. Ram Duel SSD's
hannibal Posted April 3, 2009 Author Posted April 3, 2009 the switches will be connected to a USB controller board (L Bodnar BU0836) windows will recognize it as a game controller... from there, black shark will just see it as a controller to be configured... for other games, i will use mapping programs, such as ControlMK, so i can map keyboard keys to the switches and buttons.. my F-15 HOTAS is coming... find me on steam! username: Hannibal_A101A http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197969447179
