As the title says.

Only way to back to the nav point is by undesignating through the TGP, which is annoying if you haven't loaded one.

Reproduction:

- prep Miz with one steerpoint

- Load bombs

-take off

- designate any location with AGR/GM

- try to undesignate

To quickly show the issue, i did the following in the track:
- hot start with 2 dumb bombs

- set CCRP

- create radar lock on sub-mode GMT

- see the POI with JHMCS

- switch back to CCIP
(now the AGR does not show GMT anymore)
- drop bombs
- unable to undesignate as GMT is no longer available
- switching back to nav does not change the POI

cannot undesignate.trk

Hi @dutchili

When you enter the CCIP sub-mode, it ignores any SPI indication, slaving sensors to the bomb pipper. There is nothing in that mode to undesignate regardless of what SPI you previously had.

The diamond on your HUD/HMD coincides with the last location of designation, yes, but it's actually the last steerpoint with the added deltas. It's not actually a designation. If you press CZ it will revert back to the original steerpoint pre-designation.

Hope I could help you understand this.

Are you sure CZ is available in AGR?
CZ is available in the TGP sensor, but that was not loaded on this flight.

I tried to TMS down in AGR but without the CZ effect. I don't a OSB button for CZ.
Is there another button/command to CZ?
