Is the function of the EMER LDG handle operating normally?

Observed phenomena:
1. On the ground (WOW), pull the EMER LDG while keeping the LDG handle in the DN position.
2. This action causes the NLG/MLG FWD doors to open.
3. Reset the EMER LDG while keeping the LDG handle in the DN position.
4. The NLG/MLG FWD doors then remain open and fixed in that position.
5. These open doors do not close even after restarting the engines, or manipulating the LDG and EMER LDG handles.
6. When taking off and the WOW is off, the MLG FWD door closes, but the NLG FWD door does not.

in airborne, push in the EMER LDG handle, set the LDG handle to UP to normal the LDG, and then
7. In the air, with LDG in the UP position, pulling the EMER LDG normally opens the FWD DOOR and lowers the LDG.
8. However, when the EMER LDG is reset, the MLG and FWD door retract normally, but the NLG does not retract and the FWD door does not close.
9. Cycling the LDG handle restores normal operation.

Questions:
1. As far as I know, on the ground, if the C/B is closed, EMER LDG is stored, and the LDG handle is in the DN position, shouldn't the FWD doors be closed?
2. In the air, if the EMER LDG handle is used to pull & reset, is it normal that the NLG does not retract and the FWD door does not close?

1. Known issue. Literally one of the last types of bugs to even worry about.

2.  Correct as is. NLG does not retract unless handle is cycled.
