grim_reaper68 Posted February 26, 2024 Posted February 26, 2024 (edited) Hi After having noticed some problem with the F1 and the laser code, I observed that none aircraft was able to attack ground units without having their own lasing pod. I tested the F1, M2000 and F18, with autolase script and ingame JTAC, setup attack the group in the ME, with guided bombs as weapons. None of them drop their bombs, they just return to the base. I made some test with the F18 and tried to buddy lase for my AI wingman, tells him to attack my target, at which he respond "negative". With the F1, I set the laser code to 1676 to the Reaper I was able to drop my bombs, and they were guided , my wingman refuses to attack, only with guns... After that, I jumped into my wingmans aircraft, and was surpised to see that the GBU I dropped didn't be guided by the laser with the code 1676. Then I flew to another target also lased by a Predator with the autolase script (default code 1688), and it works. So whatever the code set up in the ME, it seems that the wingman stays at the default value. I also tested with an ingame JTAC, so I made all the calls etc... It works fine for me, but neither my AI wingman, nor an full AI flight were able to attack. The only way to achieve a GBU bombing run was with the F18, on a flight where they both had their own Litening pod. Is there a way to have autonomous AI flight that could use the autolase or the ingame JTAC? To be able to make some precision strike on designed ground unit groups? Here is the post where you eventually can find some interesting informations about my tests. Test F1 GBU Sinaî autolase.miz Maybe i missed something in the ME, so feel free to correct my mission and to give me feedbaack about what I didn't do correctly.
