Carrier take-off training mission broken.

 The carrier takeoff tutorial is broken. Mission starts, but the player does not spawn. No cockpit, no F2 external, nothing. The only thing that seems to spawn is 1 lonely Huey. The tutorial track plays, however the F10 map shows no carrier, player etc.

 Using the current patch. All mods removed and the install repaired. No change. I do have supercarrier installed. Did a search and found nothing about this issue. Have not tried the carrier landing one, because that is irrelevant. The runway starts/recoveries seem to work properly..

 

EDIT: This is more than likely a DCS issue. F-18 carrier ops have the same issue. Will update post if I figure it out. Maybe help someone else along the way? Corrupted install (it's 4 years old,lol)? Currently wiping my install and starting clean. Only posted here because the Cat is the first module I noticed it on. Really want to learn how to fly this girl, lol

On my DCS it works as intended, perhaps you still have a user Mod conflicting?

Yeah that's my hunch, or maybe install corrupt in some way. Doing clean install. Try and lock down what mod, if any. I use some scenery enhancing mods. Be nice to know

I've just had the same issue. This fixed it for me:

1. Exit DCS

2. Remove the JAS39 (Grippen) mod (C:\Users\[username]\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Mods\aircraft\JAS39)

3. Restart DCS
