I have an intermittent problem where the guns continue to fire after pressing and releasing the trigger. For both 0.303s and 20mm. I've checked my control setup and I only have the stick buttons bound. Separate for each gun type. No others including keyboard. Is this a problem anyone else has encountered?

I have not encountered this issue. Is there some joystick button testing/display software you can run at the same time to see if your device is registering a button press when it happens, maybe?

It only happens with the spitfire. All other modules are fine.

I also have this exact same problem, only in spitty and very random.

I've checked my Warthog with the control panel s/w all works fine, nothing sticking, press and release registered sharply.

Everything his fine for me in p-47, p-51, A8, Mosquito, K4, F-86, F-5, F-14, F-16, MIG-21. It's just the Spit. It happens more often than not now and makes it unplayable if I want to use guns.

Same for me in terms of everything else working fine.  Very random in my case, happens in multiplayer when I'm in a fight, seems to be just the once in any session on a server but it can empty your ammo boxes pretty quickly.

Here's the problem.  When you are slightly greyed out, or in a blackout, the guns keep firing.  So, you're probably in a grey-out situation and didn't realize it.  However, in a grey-out or blackout, I doubt you would keep pressing the button in real life.  So, yes, this needs fixing.
