Highwayman8948 Posted April 15, 2024 Posted April 15, 2024 Hi. I have trawled the forums noticing similar issues as far back as March 2022. My machine runs much slower than my friend's laptop with a much lower CPU/GPU spec, I struggle to join servers like Rotorheads where it takes ages to load, and even when I load up I get 3-5 FPS. The_Nephilim Posted April 16, 2024 Posted April 16, 2024 Well I know for sure that windows 10 does not know how to handle your AMD 3d CPU cores. you may need to get Process Lasso and assign the proper cores to the game. I seen this issue a few times on the forums perhpas do a search for your CPU and PL to find the relevant thread to see exactly what you need to do to get it working.. Bot really necessary as far as I know. The 5800x3d only has a single CCD with all the cache. Only the 7900x3d & 7950x3d are equipped with 2 CCD where one features more cache.
Highwayman8948 Posted April 29, 2024 Author Posted April 29, 2024 Thanks for the replies everyone. I tried Lasso but still no better. I ended up going nuclear reinstalling windows and DCS, now works a treat, maxed out graphics setting with FPS 80+ in VR and 170+ 4K 2D
