  1. I don't dare to ask what your employment range for the Sidewinder is. Even on airquake we've reliably hit players at ranges 50-65nm last few days. If vs AI, try reducing skill level.
  2. Yes it should work on any GPU vendor.
  3. Bot really necessary as far as I know. The 5800x3d only has a single CCD with all the cache. Only the 7900x3d & 7950x3d are equipped with 2 CCD where one features more cache.
  4. Try CyberXeSS now called OptiScaler on github. You can "unlock" DLSS and use FSR2.1 , 2.1 or XeSS as scaler. Using this with XeSS looks alot better even than Native TAA let alone ingame FSR1
  5. Virtual Desktop Godlike & Quad Views in Fixed Foveated mode. Rest depending on your setup I suppose
  6. Reiceived T-shirt + the two Meteor Vinyls today. (Sweden)
  7. Judging by their newsletter charts it's in between AH64 and 15E.
  8. Worked for me if I disable quad views, but looks worse than VD imo so I never bothered too much.
  9. Thanks for this tip/post! Been messing around with DCS VR for weeks trying all kinds of different settings from high to ultra in VD without finding a good compromise between visual fidelity and performance. Saw this and decided, yeah what the hell, lets try it out! Running Godlike in VD and PD 1.1 (tried 1.2 first but got some frame drops) and using FSR at similar res as DLSS this is the most clean I've gotten DCS to look sofar in VR with good performance. Might dare to say I'm done tinkering! Now bring the Phantom and I'm all set!
  10. There's an image of one tracking a B-2 I believe, not sure about F-22 but I'd imagine it could do that as well. Phoenix could also be fired / used along with the IRST TWS.
  11. Same here, day 1 but also Vinyls.
  12. True, but we can't do that with FSR in DCS. Maybe some day if FSR3 ever gets implemented. Looking at game files it seems what we have ingame is only FSR1 with forced TAA applied, unless the code is hidden somewhere else.
  13. I might be terrible at explaining so I'll try again. 1.1440P monitor. 2.Resolution set at 3840x2160 downscaled/supersampling. 3. Run FSR2 or DLSS at Quality (3840x2160 = 1440P internal resolution) Giving DLSS or FSR2 more pixels to initially work with initially yields way better results. Makes no sense, atleast in DCS FSR also suffers from alot of ghosting.
  14. A good practical example of this is using FSR2 or DLSS on a 1440P monitor with 4K downscaled resolution set. Running FSR or DLSS on Quality means it will render at 1440P if I remember correctly but will generally look better than native 1440P rendering but at some performance cost, sometimes even lower Quality settings can achieve good results with increased texture sharpness and anti-aliasing, but depends on the game & implementation.
  15. Will you be working on / improving the FSR implementation? From my understanding FSR 3 offers DLAA alternative for AMD, Intel & non nVidia RTX cards along with better upscaler.
  16. Will there be any more work on FSR implementation? FSR 3 besides framegen also offers DLAA alternative where the game is rendered using native resolution.
  17. I have no trouble reading gauges and text for instance, something definitely seems off. I'm running VD however, Ultra mode which is resolution 2736 x2736 per eye so quite a bit of supersampling which helps with clarity. IIRC Picos streaming assistant on Ultra is 2160x2160 (Native Pico 4 res). In C:\Program Files\Streaming Assistant\driver\bin\win64\RVRPlugin.ini Try adding sharper=0.3 or higher value and see if that helps.
  18. What res do you use in DCS options ? Put that to lowest, and by 150% do you mean PD 1.5? You're probably running out of VRAM, therefore the very low FPS. 16GB RAM and 8 GB VRAM is on the lower end even for 2D. VR is alot more taxing since you will be rendering alot more pixels. Try turning down texture resolutions and MSAA as a test and see.
  19. What are your settings? Ingame and streaming assistant (assuming you use that if not VD)
  20. Looking at the files the only hint of FSR is FSR1 "AMD FidelityFX SUPER RESOLUTION [FSR 1] ::: SPATIAL SCALING & EXTRAS - v1.20210629"
  21. Looks to me you are locking a jamming target and is too far away to burn through / and got no range information yet.
  22. FSR2 is not available, it's old school FSR1 with TAA applied currently in DCS.
  23. You know you can set upp Chill as you like tegarding min/max fps?
