Antennae from Static Objects Mod

I'm trying to see if there's any interest in a sling load cargo mission, where you would lift the Antennae unit (from the static objects mod) from off a flat railcar at the station and take it to a hilltop or somewhere.

First test to see if its tendency to jump around until it kills you is fixed.

Ah, what type of "jumping around" do you see in a mission like that?  Is it with the mod itself, or more with the playable unit in a user-created mission file?

Not sure what do you mean by playable unit, but that anntenae will jump up and down like it's on rubber bands until it eventually kills you.

Why don't you just do a quick test yourself?

Ah I did do  a quick test of every object in the static objects mod.  The howitzer will explode you on pickup (F6 sling cargo menu) so don't do that.  Otherwise the wooden plank bundle also does something like makes the sling line go crazy and doesn't actually attach.  All other objects work ok, and that antennae unit does sling load just fine without jumpiness or jittering.

Oh, are there other tech (object mods) you are running on your DCS rig?

It's part of mod package, I don't have it as a standalone.

what does it mean to have it as standalone?  Like as incorporated in the DCS software by default?'

Have you tried upgrading to the latest version of the static objects mod?  Otherwise, that's unfortunate it isn't working for you.
