Mixing hardware units

I'm torn between keeping my current setup (WinWing) or move to Virple. Eventually I want to move over to Virple.  Does anyone have experience using a mix of WW and VP hardware?   Is running different softwares simultaneously more of a problem than it's worth?  I just can't drop another 2-2.5k on new hardware at once.

Is there anyone interested in WW hardware, I'd be open to discussing selling my current WW setup.

Orion 2 throttle base with F-18 and F15EX handles

Libra flight stick base with F-16 flight stick

Top Gun MIP control panels

Gemini throttle/ collective base 

KA-50 collective with extension kit

There's nothing wrong with my WW setup, I just want to try out Virple.

I run a mixed system of Virpil WarBRD base with Thrustmaster F-18 stick and WW throttle, MIP/MFD's.  No issues.  I do run SimAppPro when flying, but the only time I've run Virpil software is to set up the base.

Yup no problems here 2/3 of my setup in Winwing with Virpil pulling duty as the throttle. couldn't be happier. Since I'm mainly apache the split throttle is great. the left axis is the power lever and the right being collective.

I've not mixed with Winwing but have Virpil + VKB currently (was CH + VKB). The only real challenge you're ever likely going to run into if you want use modes to completely change the mappings on all devices at the flick of a switch (I do this via Joystick Gremlin and previously used JoytoKey).  I pretty much never touch the brand-specific software except for calibration/initial axis setup purposes.

No issues here beyond ensuring that I have enough powered USB hubs to keep them running.

I have Virpil throttle, collective, stick and panels, WW panels, TM rudders, Total controls panel and an F18 replica panel.
