Viggen CTD for no apparent reason

running on MT with latest DCS

Viggen will CTD no matter what, as long as I enter the viggen slot, at some point my game will crash. There is 0 correlation between all the crashes, as the issues have occurred on different maps and at different times, whether I am in the plane or not. As long as I hopped into the viggen at any point, it will CTD.

Have you tried to run DCS without user mods enabled? .. just to discard that the issue is not caused by an unwanted conflict between the viggen and one of your user Mods?

Same issue here. Completed mission 3 of the RF campaign without problems, but now, on mission 4, getting a CTD just after engine start every time.

tried that, no change, crashed while I was testing missions

interestingly I had a somewhat similar issue with the mi-24, where it would CTD if I crashed and then respawned

Your prior Log file showed quite a lot of Mods loaded along with DCS, can you attach a Log from your "no Mods" crash? Just to be sure that no user Mod was still enabled?

You still have User Mods enabled, try the following:

 

rename the folder C:\Users\grego\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Mods

to

C:\Users\grego\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Mods.bak

 

and try the Viggen again

curious
the issue is caused if i try to edit the bindings for the viggen, either through quaggles key injector or through actually editing the game files myself
very odd
