Follow the apps "demand" for them to be unplugged. A Powered USB Hub that has switches should do the job. I tried it plugged directly to my PC with everything else disconnected and from the powered hub with everything else dc'd. The disconnecting of other devices is a SimApp default, the disconnecting of my stick with extension was the only fix. This wouldn't be much of an issue if the wire connector was more robust. F19_CoNa Posted December 19, 2024 Posted December 19, 2024 (edited) I have not had any problem updating the joystick or the base, but I have MFSSB and it wont let me update that without taking the grip off. But when I do that , there is no option to update the MFSSB. nullI just updated to simappro 1.16.14 and it did not fix the problem. was on 1.15 something before, did not work with pervious versions either. Winwings response was, that it's not a problem to run on 1.03 Sure it works , but would not 1.04 be better? I don't know what has changed. Any ideas on what to do? menace Posted January 2 Posted January 2 I have noticed that WINWING pushed out a few updates to SimAppPro this past week, seems to me that maybe your issue is some thing in the core software, I'd update to the latest SimAppPro and see what happened. I'm using a 16 port USB3.1 hub that has switches for each port and I'be plugged that into a "blue" usb port on my computer. I've also labeled all the cables going into the port so I can power whatever I need to power off for whatever reason.

Just use a laptop with simappro and a spare cable....pretty simple Ryzen 9 7950X3D - MSI MAG X670E TomaHawk MB, ASUS ROG Ryujin III 360 AIO 64gig Corsair DDR5@6000, Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 AORUS Winwing Super Taurus, Orion2, TO / Combat panels, Collective with Topgun MIP Winwing Skywalker pedals, NLR Boeing Mil Edition Simpit, 55" Samsung Odyssey Ark, Trackir
menace Posted January 6 Posted January 6 A 16 USB 3.1 hub is a bit cheaper then a laptop.. Just saying..

When you have to upgrade firmware, it's easier to just disconnect the device at the device end, grab a spare cable, plug it into a laptop and update. Saves unplugging all devices from the hub. Oh and I own 3 high powered hubs....Just saying! 1 Ryzen 9 7950X3D - MSI MAG X670E TomaHawk MB, ASUS ROG Ryujin III 360 AIO 64gig Corsair DDR5@6000, Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 AORUS Winwing Super Taurus, Orion2, TO / Combat panels, Collective with Topgun MIP Winwing Skywalker pedals, NLR Boeing Mil Edition Simpit, 55" Samsung Odyssey Ark, Trackir
menace Posted January 6 Posted January 6 I think you misunderstood, not everyone has a laptop hanging around that they can use for upgrades. I've got one, however, it's so slow that by the time you boot it up I could have gotten a step stool, climbed on top of my computer bench and unplugged anything I wanted to from the back of my computer, so a 16 port USB3.1 hub is both cheaper and safer.

Bond.K Posted January 19 Posted January 19 On my WinWing Orion2 stm32f103cbt6 died in NavyAce Metal Throttle Grip. I replaced it. As I understand it, the firmware is 18C_HANDLE_APP_V1.33_20231219.wwtc How to write it down? I install using St-LINK V2. But Throttle Grip doesn't work.

Bond.K Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Fine. Can you help with this problem? I need firmware for stm32f103cbt6. Where can I find it?
MustangSally Posted January 20 Posted January 20 All firmware is available here > https://winwingsim.com/view/regular.html click on 'Firmware' Ryzen 9 7950X3D - MSI MAG X670E TomaHawk MB, ASUS ROG Ryujin III 360 AIO 64gig Corsair DDR5@6000, Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 AORUS Winwing Super Taurus, Orion2, TO / Combat panels, Collective with Topgun MIP Winwing Skywalker pedals, NLR Boeing Mil Edition Simpit, 55" Samsung Odyssey Ark, Trackir
Bond.K Posted January 22 Posted January 22 From this link I took the firmware 18C_HANDLE_APP_V1.33_20231219.wwtc Now the question. How can I put this firmware into the handle controller? What if you need to disconnect the handle to update the database?
MustangSally Posted January 22 Posted January 22 (edited) You can only upgrade the grip when it is connected to the base. You can manually select the firmware via the device tab In Simappro. Read the manual! Bond.K Posted January 23 Posted January 23 I've already tried this. Thanks for the interesting conversation. I will think about how to solve this problem.
Bond.K Posted February 8 Posted February 8 As I repaired, with the replacement of the STM32 chip, the original bootloader is needed. Without it, the firmware upgrade is impossible. I had to make my own firmware and a separate controller.
