I lose comms to the carrier on the way back not sure why. I was on the right channel (5) tried both radios no joy ...

I haven't tested it yet but at least frequency seems to be right for both the carrier and player (channel 5). 

There are two carriers (CVN-71 USS Theodore Roosevelt and CVN-72 Abraham Lincoln) in this mission and they are using different frequency. Is there any chance you have contacted wrong carrier?

I did wonder about that but i tried both carriers and got responses from neither, via the Comms menu and via voice attack/vaicom even though and i landed aboard the Big Stick... so ...something else ...?

Damn. That would have been too easy solution. I'll continue troubleshooting.

I wasn't able to replicate the problem. I tested the mission couple of times and had no problem with the carrier communication. Also frequencies are right. Can't tell what caused that problem for you.

No worries, I wonder if it is something to do with MT... Anyway thanks for looking
