Anyone able to post a valid invite to ORBX’s Discord server?
So far, I’ve not found one that works 😱🤷🏻‍♂️😂

Discord however is awful (imho)

 

really, I don't understand how this platform managed to get so popular (probably an age thing on my side I suppose...)

Oh that's simple really; Companies discovered that it's far simpler (cheaper) for them to just have customers use Discord for support rather than operate a proper website and forums. So they gradually forced people to use Discord with no alternative available for customers. Combine that with a very small but loud minority that loves Discord and keeps pushing it, and here we are in 2024 where people get forced to use a platform they don't like, or even hate.

Discord is a mess, it always has been.

Discord is a mess, it always has been.

I think it is also more nefarious.  I think Discord is a completely monitored experience, so intelligence types push it's use for invasive reasons
