as far as I know no, but since you can't even run in shell environment only the server itself, I'm not sure why you need the installer to run from shell only.

Well i haven't looked into running the server for the moment, I'm trying at least to install it 1st x)
I find it weird not to be able to run everything without any UI, that could be so helpful to develop more community servers
At least thx for your answer, I hope someone will find a way (hopefully in an update one day...)

To be honest have more servers is not equal to have more quality out there, it may help, but definitely it's not a guarantee of anything.
The same is for a "simple GUI" to manage them...may help, but definitely not a must have feature that without it is not possible to manage a good DCS server.
And, last but not least, you can still have several DCS instance on the same machine, even more then 5 using different DCS account, and manage all of them locally from the server just selecting the correct port without care at all what was the actual account running each instance.

I understand what you say, but my idea here isn't to host many servers for myself*, it would be to it host via pterodactyl, so it could be efficient and accessible for everyone without having to have much knowledge on the networking and installing side.
Also, if any day this kind of setup is made possible, I would find it amazing to use it to give people servers for 1/2 a day for free, which I personnally would have loved to be able to practice or dogfight just with my friend, without having to install and setup anything...; and maybe even someday to make some hosting sites for dcs ( WITHOUT HAVING TO PAY 40€ for 4 player https://www.fox3ms.com/product-page/co-op-tier, some costly per hour fee https://ready-room.net/, or some ovh server around same cost)
Finally, it would remove a LOT of costs for server operator ( and consequently people playing), since it's running on linux :,)
