Arbitrary Posted May 19, 2024 Posted May 19, 2024 While playing with Airgoons in "The Long Afternoon War" multiplayer campaign we have experienced a few apparent bugs. 1/ This week's mission had us unable to jettison our wing fuel tanks. We tried both the normal select jettison and the emergency jettison. No luck. Loadout was 6x durandal, 2x wing tanks, 30ea flares (the forbidden CM loadout). 2/ Three out of four of us had the centerline pylon (the whole thing with 4ea durandals on it) disappear. Tacview shows only 2 bombs drop from these planes, the DCS track file shows the pylon disappear too. There might be a correlation between attempting to jettison the wing tanks via select jettision (inboard only) and the centerline pylon disappearing. As you can see in these screenshots the centerline rack is gone. As we all know, this centerline rack cannot be jettisioned. null(please ignore the Springfield 1-1 vs 1-2 issue in the aircraft name, DCS ordered the slots/boardnumbers 2,3,4,1 fornull whatever reason) Track file (195MB): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1U9ao-KQbuWny3pgFHSHsMcy7zRAXziOK/view?usp=drive_link
Arbitrary Posted May 19, 2024 Author Posted May 19, 2024 I see there might be a related ticket with the BR250. Tacview shows some entity spawn from my plane at 4.8g. If the pylon has a "5g" limit for the SMAP-400kg, I don't see why it shouldn't be higher for the durandals which clock in at about half the weight. Tacview shows "the entity" spawn in at 4.6g on Springfield 1-3 (yes, tacview is imperfect), but Springfield 1-4 doesn't seem to pull excessively (~2.6g and no event spawning "the entity"). Springfield 1-2 is the only one that made it to the target with the centerline still attached.
fausete Posted May 19, 2024 Posted May 19, 2024 Hi, all of these problems should be fixed with next week's patch too. 3
