DayGlow Posted May 22, 2024 Posted May 22, 2024 (edited) I found that it's difficult to use the Jester UI with VR and head tracking to issue commands as to close the menu afterward the mouse cursor has to be centered into the UI wheel to close it. Kinda defeats the purpose of using head tracking for commands Edited May 24, 2024 by HB_Painter Classification of Bugs and User reports 1 "It takes a big man to admit he is wrong...I'm not a big man" Chevy Chase, Fletch Lives 5800X3D - 64gb ram - RTX3080 - Windows 11
Solution Viking 1-1 Posted May 22, 2024 Solution Posted May 22, 2024 Long press of the button for the jester menu closes the wheel as well, if that might help you... Zabuzard Posted May 22, 2024 Posted May 22, 2024 Not sure I understand the problem. If you are a headtracking user, as long as you do not actively move the mouse around, your headtracking will be active. You do not have to center your mouse or anything.Note that you can also tweak a lot of UI settings in the special options to your liking :) The menu is closed by holding the UI button down for a few miliseconds.

A short press also works, but the mouse curser has to be centered in the jester wheel, which was causing my issue "It takes a big man to admit he is wrong...I'm not a big man" Chevy Chase, Fletch Lives 5800X3D - 64gb ram - RTX3080 - Windows 11
Zabuzard Posted May 23, 2024 Posted May 23, 2024 Right, short press works for closing when the UI is in "mouse mode". In head-tracking mode, short-press will "click" at the current cursor position instead.
