Good find! I'm using a TM warthog aswell and with the throttle disconnected the F-4E module doesn't immediately crash after pressing fly anymore. When I switched back to using the warthog throttle, DCS crashes again. I don't really have an accessible backup throttle though, my TM Cougar is hidden below my desk to provide me with the rudder pedals only

hornblower793 Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 @SU33UB both sets of logs are showing out of memory errors. It might be worth upping the size of your pagefile from 12GB to 32GB to match your RAM size. I would also check that your memory is not faulty (using Memtest or similar) 1 Windows 11 Home ¦ Z790 AORUS Elite AX motherboard ¦ i7-13700K ¦ 64GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5 memory @ 5600MHz ¦ Samsung 990 Pro 1TB SSD for OS, Samsung 980 Pro 2TB SSD for DCS ¦ MSI GeForce RTX 4090 Gaming X Trio 24GB ¦ Virpil WarBRD base with VFX grip, Thrustmaster A10c and F/A-18 grips ¦ VKB Gunfighter Mk4 and MCG Pro ¦ Thrustmaster Warthog Throttle ¦ VKB STECS Throttle ¦ Virpil TCS rotor base with Shark and AH-64D grips ¦ MFG Crosswinds ¦ Total Controls Multi-Function Button Box ¦ Pimax Crystal
diamond26 Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 I had similar crashes only in VR and my problem solved by renaming Saved Games folder and let DCS rebuild a new one from scratch. I then copied folders one by one from the old one until I reached the point of crash. In my case it was the binding of the Bombing Table function to a two way switch in Virpil CM3 throttle. Removed it and everything is fine now. cSonora Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 Hey team, I just wanted to let you know that after the latest update I've been able to play several long sessions without having a single CTD or BSOD, so in my case the issue seems to be resolved. Having a blast with the module so far. Congrats for such an amazing work and thanks for your support! Carlos.

Mr. Farknocker Posted July 16, 2024 Posted July 16, 2024 My DCS crashes with the F4 when I'm going through training or MP. I think it may have to do with the saved games folder being read only. Can anyone confirm? dcs.log

Ultimately it crashed within DCS weapon code though. Hard to say what exactly caused it.
