Mission 12 Plug

Hello Badger 633,

ran into a problem in mission 12, maybe I'm doing something wrong?

When I'm ordered to refuel, I switch channels and contact Texaco using the radio menu to declare my intent to refuel. I did so on the starboard side, but my wingman who was supposed to plug on the port side never did. He just went on and flew off in the direction of the ABE. Even though I refueled, it likely didn't count. I didn't receive any other communication  after this and eventually got the mission failed screen because I didn't plug as signaled.

Refuelling can be a minefield with ED updates. Has worked fine until now. I will fly it through see what happens my end. Normally if the wing does refuse to plug he will stay with you and you can carry on after you have refuelled. Reason you got a fail is because he didn’t stay with you. I will change this fail so if such a thing happened you would not get a fail. 
Have you tried this more than once. Sometimes these things happen when events happen to overlap and if your computer is slightly slow it seems to have this effect. Fly it again and sometimes all works fine.
Let me know if you get a repeat. A track would be useful. I will check it out and let you know.

thank you for the quick response. I only tried this once since I had the same thing happen to me in mission 9 part2. Only there it thankfully didn't result in a failure. So I assumed that it would just play out the same way if I tried again.

I'll fly it again tonight.

I will do same. Please keep the track.  I assume with mission 9 part 2 your wing remained with you that's why you didn't get a problem?

Also are you using the MT version and are you running any mods. Also would you say your computer spec was low medium or high end.

Found some time to try again just now. No luck.. As soon as we are nearing the tanker and the dialogue plays in which Matrix is told to plug on port side he immediately turns towards the ABE.

EDIT: I'm playing without mods. MT version in VR. My specs are I9 12900K with a RTX4090 and 48GB of RAM

Yeah, same issue this end. ED updates often break refuelling, working on it, will let you know when fixed. What other missions have you had this on?

Like I said, mission 9 part 2 is the other one I can remember. I played the previous missions quite a long time ago, way before the latest updates.

Do you know if the lazing bug in M01 of your Operation Green Line campaign happens to everyone? If not I'd play this one in the meantime

@Solid_84 No it doesn't happen to everyone, it has never happened to me, that's the problem.

It will not be resolved until next update, but you may be like me and ok.
