Option to have F10 and Kneeboard position tick view show position of own aircraft , to the pilot and aircrew, according to aircraft's nav system.

I admit, I use F10 and kneeboard as a navigation crutch. IMHO, manual naviagaton is one of the more difficult tasks in aviation. More still difficult in military aviation. More still difficult with IMC and NAV system errors.

Right now, there is no real need to spinup and align INU for navigation. Just take off, and use kneeboard ticks and F10 view. They are a crutch.

Take away that crutch and thongs get dicey. One way to reduce length of crutch is to have own aircraft position being in sync where aircraft's nav system , in pit, shows the pilot where it thinks the aircraft is. So if it is off, the position on F10 map should be off also.

Turning off F10 option is an option but F10 is usefull for other things also.

The kneevboard tickmark shpudl also be in sync with aircraft nav system.

Right now F10 and Kneeboard function a perfect built in nav display unit for any aircraft. Regardless of generation.

What 'nav system errors' are you having unless you're talking about enabling system failures?

The nav systems in all the aircraft are excellent and you should never need to look at the F10 map unless it's for freqs and borders etc.

You've admitted to needing a crutch and want more features added, when really you should be learning how to navigate and use the navaids properly so you don't need a crutch.
