Hi friends,

I have just 2 helo's in my Saved games/ mods / AC-folder. The UH-60L and the MH-60R, both updated to the latest. After the last update , any mods placed in this folder makes DCS not even start up. Removing these 2, (or any in this aircraft folder) and DCS works fine.

I further have only ADMIRAL's and Current Hills mods in my tech folder, and they work just fine. Also i have tried the DCS repair & check option twice , but still the same results when i put these 2 mods back in that specific folder.

Does this mean we cannot use any MOD-aircraft any longer ? 

Please help.

The UH-60L and/or MH-60R mods are causing issues for some people with the current DCS build.  You may have to wait for those mods to get updated to use them again.

glad to see that it's not just me. I've researched it on here , but there wasn't any news on this issue. Just saw some reactions on CH channel. Was almost about to reinstall the whole DCS again. I guess we wait it off a bit for the new updates or fixes.

Could be those mods, or something about them. This can happen after every DCS update. Quite frequently for certain mods actually, that said. I have the UH-60L installed without any issues.

Hi Maxsenna,  Thx for your input. Could i ask you though.... do you have the UH-60L (v1.4)/MH-60R in your saved games/mods/aircraft folder? Because as soon as i put it in this folder, DCS doesn't even start up at all. Even tried putting it in the Tech folder, but same result.

That's weird and sets me thinking. As you saw before, i don't have any other mods other then Admirals and CH's. As soon as i put in any helo or aircraft Mod (Anubis, Agusta Westland AW101 Merlin, C17_Globemaster_III_(V.2.8), Military Aircraft Mod, OH-6A, VSN for excample) in that folder , DCS stops working. So now my aircraft folder is copletely empty!

Apologies for the late reply. I'm on the v.1.4 latest release from September 23rd on Github.

Hi Max m8,

I got the same. Already found the issue out. Seemed the MH-60R had some issues and applied a temp fix untill a new update comes. Added the fix and all ac mods working fine again. We probably get more of those mod updates in the near future i guess
