I cannot say this happens on every user mission. 3 systems and after update, entities such as awacs and tower are not audible in any of our user made missions. Pressing the appropriate F key, for example request taxi progresses to the next option, request takeoff but you never hear them. Awacs also is not audible. Created a new mission and it works. Tutorial missions it works. -
Hi Gents, I've had to post this in here due to locked out of update posting. Just updated to patch to fix Meta mess but to no avail .not working is there something else I've missed?. Please don't start suggesting to mess with copy paste crap I'm not that diverse on computers just an old boy who likes VR flying I have a oculus rift s. been playing ILsturm to easy my addiction till this gets sorted. I'm already starting to weep when I watch u tube vids of growling sidewinder dcs. more than that I've had to resort to talking back with the wife ,,,,, -
This is a weird one. Updated my install today and decided to mess with Combined Arms. So I was trying some of the training missions and the tanks, etc were not there, only unarmed vehicles. I tried creating my own mission with various vehicles, same thing. Only the unarmed ones and some ADA spawned in. Can someone try to replicate this behavior? also tried both Red and Blue on various maps. Same thing.

Good afternoon, Following the latest update to DCS, there appears to be a bug in place whereby naval assets are not spawning despite being placed successfully in multiplayer. I initially assumed that this was a mod compatibility issue, but core game naval assets are not spawning either. Are you able to advise/assist? Many thanks

So, I recently updated DCS World and tried two missions, both were destroyed by the update. 1. F/A-18C, mission: "Cold Start" on the carrier. As soon as the game is loaded, the jet explodes on the carrier. 2. AJS37, mission :" Hunting the hunters". I have played this mission many many times before, but now the main target (the boat) is missing. Weird, since the goal of the mission is to destroy the cruiser, but since it is not there, the mission cannot be completed properly. Anyone else who has experienced the same problems?

Yesterday (2/20/24) my DCS started crashing upon launch whenever I get to the splash screen. I was going to try out the AITrack and OpenTrack systems to see how well they'd work for me as I can't afford TrackIR yet. After installing them both and setting them up, my DCS began crashing upon launch. I don't think these caused the issue but I don't know for certain because up until that point, it'd been a few days since I launched the game. I completely uninstalled both AITrack and OpenTrack from my computer, but the crash still occurs. When trying to use the "Create Fast Mission", no matter what map, or aircraft, the mission creator crashes to home screen at 9% mission completion. I have attached my DCS Log document. dcs.log

I have been playing with the Su-27 these past few weeks and noticed that the bombing reticle sits too high in the HUD and it's not working correctly in the new open beta. The bomb cue does not show. The bombs don't drop. I have the stable version also and it works there fine. I will check the other FC planes and give you an update. -
I have just updated to DCS 2.9 from DCS 2.8 yesterday, when I tried flying the SU-25T in DCS 2.8 everything was alright, however in DCS 2.9 whenever I pilot the SU-25T I see a camo texture on the windows which doesn't allow me to see through. I tried uninstalling some cockpit mods I had, however nothing changed. I am posting this in DCS 2.9 bugs as this didn't happen in DCS 2.8. Any answers or fixes would be very appreciated.

I'm not sure if this is intended or not, as I can't see it in other people's screenshots or videos documenting the refreshed FC3 cockpits. On my install all the steam gauge instruments have a cloudy texture over the top of them. Is this intended or an issue on my end? I've verified my install, and obviously, I'm using the default cockpit. Thanks!

Hello, I've had zero issues with my DCS for the last couple years until this last while. Issue: While in the F/A-18C strafing ground targets using the M61A2 cannon, I obviously switch to A/G mode on the left, and then select the 'gun' button on the left mfd which we all know causes the A/G gun pipper to appear in the HUD. PROBLEM: Diving down on a ground target, pull the trigger, burst fires but NO AUDIO of the cannon sound emits (minor issue). I pull up and away after destroying the target and then BAM, the server either crashes (no matter what MP server I'm on) or DCS crashes. This ONLY happens when using the F/A-18C cannon in A/G mode using the a/g pipper and diving down on a ground target. ***I've already re-installed files, the Hornet, deleted mods, etc as well as verified game files. Hello, i don't see anyone reporting this yet, but for the last 2 updates i think, i cannot use dumb bombs in Su-25T, Su-27, Su-33, Mig-29 and A-10A and maybe more. At the moment i am on the last update, but i can confirm that i can successfully use dumb bombs in version 2.9.1. In some cockpits it's more obvious that in others, the pipper is way up on the HUD and in A-10A i noticed that the "falling line" in inverted and i can drop bombs while flying belly up. Attached are some tracks of my test flights. At first i thought that maybe the bombing procedure was updated, but i couldn't find any mention in the changelogs. and after noticing the pipper in the wrong position and trying to fly acrobatically the A-10A, i think that this is a bug. Today, I was flying and doing some weapon practice with the SU-25T. All weapons worked fine, but using bombs (like FABs) is no longer possible. In the HUD, the CCIP reticle doesn't show on the ground but seems to be mirrored up in the sky. If I manage to put this reticle on the ground with a very steep dive, it turns into a diamond, like for activating post-designate (CCRP-like) and then guidance circle is completely offset to the left. So, neither CCIP or CCRP bombing no longer works for me.

mods conflict Armoured vehicles not appearing in Missions.

For the past few days I am unable to use any tank and most armoured vehicles and AAA vehicles as well as infantry from any country or coalition in missions. I place the ground units and they do not spawn in the mission once I start it the only ground units that spawn are anything to do with a SAM and unarmed vehicles, any airplane, helicopter and ship work and I can use in missions. eeee.miz The vehicles can't be seen in the F10 Map or spectated by using F7 because they do not spawn in, I have repaired the game files twice and started new missions and still the vehicles do not spawn. This all started when I copy and pasted USA Infantry in a mission the mission 4 days ago. A screenshot of an armored vehicle in the mission editor. The vehicle is not in the game after I started the mission nor can it be spectated. How can I fix this issue?

Been trying to get the Huey multi-crew working with the side gunners. Used to be a player could jump into a side gunner (without head tracking) and have a down the gunsight view that is mouse controlled. Now when going to a side gunner you cannot see the gunsight due to a gunner body in the way. This is the same in single player on the ground switching to a gunner position. I have tried using the "hide pilot body" key command and option with no effect. Am I forgeting something or are the Huey side gunner views broken?

What was the solution? My A10-C II crashes on start-up. Other aircraft work fine. I have done a clean and repair but still crashes. A-10C II, Instant Action, Caucasus, Cold and dark. Loading up a normal mission or campaign I am seeing nothing interesting happening. When I load up a mission or campaign that starts out on a boat, I get all sorts of problems: game crashing, hard crash, error messages of a scripting error that I seemingly cant get a screenshot of because my PC just craps out on me. This is a screenshot of the first mission of Raven One at the start. Ive noticed its like this on EVERY SINGLE CARRIER MISSION that spawns on the boat, and its not just Raven One...it happens on every single carrier mission regardless of campaign, mission or training exercise. I have not been able to find a thread mentioning this or it may be related to other crashes, but this is only happening in carrier ops only missions...and so far only tested the Hornet. It obviously looks like a scripting error. Ive tried repairing DCS, Ive removed all my mods, everything I could think of and it crashes. I'm placing various ground units in mission editor but when I launch the mission, none of them are there. I tried two different maps, several unit types and countries but it's the same. They simply don't exist. They are not set on ''late activation' or anything like that. I tried repairing the game too. Same goes when I try to place static objects. The only thing that seems to work is the smoke effect. I have a bunch of mods installed but I'm not sure if any of them could cause such an issue. Has anyone else experienced something like that?

Whenever I enter the server, it starts loading and when it reaches 80% loading it crashes. I tried 4 different servers, and the same thing always happens. I don't even get to the aircraft selection screen, I already did the quick and slow repair, and it didn't work. I will leave my PC config and Log My PC: ram 16 GB, gpu AMD RX590 8gb, cpu I5 9400F, game is installed on 1TB ssd dcs.log-20231224-122107.zip

all my missions with Carriers and related aircrafts taking off from have the same issue - as soon as you launch the mission, they just disappear from the mission itself, it's like you have never inserted them in the mission. all other AI aircrafts (not related to carriers) work fine instead. I am running latest OB, I have also tried removing all mods, no change. Please advise, thanks
