Silver_ Posted May 31, 2024 Posted May 31, 2024 The other days on a flight I noticed that the air bases imported from the theater with "Auto-import new theater" ticked in Config do not work as they should, however those with the category "AI Recipient|Airbase|Carrier", as is the case with pe Incirlik, it goes well. For example, if I try to call the Gecitkale base by voice, it doesn't respond me and it doesn't even detect it. I try to add an alias to the Gecitkale database, my pronunciation is bad, and here I find the surprise that when I hit "FINISH" to add it to my VoiceAttack database, it just doesn't add anything (not even The Apply button lights up in VoiceAttack to be able to add the new alias. Everything remains the same as if I had not added anything. In other different categories it allows me to do this without problems. The only way I can call Gecitkale, in the example, is to tune the tower (of course) and just say "Inbound", but the "Gecitkale" container will NEVER read it to me. P.S; I always have VSPX activated, I really like it and it works quite well in general. 1
PeneCruz Posted June 2, 2024 Posted June 2, 2024 Hey there, many of the terrains that are 3rd party don’t have a complete radio.lua. This is why easy Comms doesn’t work on all airports on those terrains. I could fix it on a few hours but we really need the terrain Dev to do it to make it lasting. Vaicom uses these files to do select and instant select. Lobby your terrain Dev 1

"Finish" step is broken for VSPX unfortunately, so I do it manually by turning VSPX off, "Finish", paste into Word or whatever. Turn on VSPX, "Finish", paste. Then add the missing aliases/keywords, RCtrl+A, RCtrl+C, RCtrl+P in the VAICOM profile in VoiceAttack. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk 1

Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk Thank you very much my friend for your response. I was about to send you a PM because I saw several of his posts and noticed that you had the same problem as me, but in the end, you contacted with me. I don't quite understand what you mean, but I imagine what you will do is use a text editor and add the missing aliases, checking the new ones that are generated with VSPX on off. I did the following: I tried adding new aliases with VSPX disabled and this works perfectly, they are also added to the list for voiceattack, I applied changes and closed. I opened voiceattack again, pressed CTR+ALT+C, opened vaicom and changed VSPX to on; After this, the list that it generates no longer has any of the changes (even though I have given it a list with changes) so the only method I see is by manually editing the list (as I think you refer to in your post). Although in my humble opinion I find it somewhat tedious. I think that this is the methode that you apply. Or maybe not? Edited June 3, 2024 by Silver_

If you now save it as a template. You can use it much quicker when you do changes in the future.Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk 1
Silver_ Posted June 3, 2024 Author Posted June 3, 2024 (edited) I got it to work by editing the text as you told me. It finally reads me correctly the call to the ATC from P.e. Gecitkale in Syria (verified). Back in the day I programmed the C++ language and the Assembler at a fairly high level and I suspect that for some reason pressing "Fininsh" does not update the database indexes and simply sends the original copy of the database without additions. I've gotten older and it would be very difficult for me to return to the topic considering what's new. Edited June 3, 2024 by Silver_ 1

Let's see if one day I read an adaptation tutorial. 1
