  1. I would like to know what they are playing with us when they present these updates. I know, as someone told me on these forums, that it is a Beta (Or maybe not!!! since everything is supposed to be "unified" Beta and not Beta) but even so, I don't understand the order What follows when they make these "meaningless modifications" spoiling what was already good. My God, arm me with patience!!!
  2. This fact that every time a patch comes out two things are fixed and four things are broken, it sounds to me like a lack of organization and a total disaster on the part of DCS. It shows that there is no order when doing things and things are changed like crazy and without order. I speak knowing what I say because I have been an assembler programmer in video games and, in his day, you had to maintain an exquisite order when making modifications otherwise everything would go to waste, on top of that in those years the code editors that there were, they were , they are not the wonders of today that, done wrong, allow you to follow an order.
  3. I read somewhere on this forum that Quadviews are no longer necessary with the latest versions of DCS. I have it uninstalled on my G2 reverbs and I do the foveating with the OpenXr toolkit. It works very well for me and with good frame rates.
  4. I finally discovered that I had an old assignment on another device that was bothering me. Thanks for everything. Solved.
  5. Yes, I have it right my friend, the throttle appears in the game halfway when I start the mission and as soon as I touch it a millimeter it recovers its real position. It is as if this data was recorded in some lua file, it is strange.
  6. Until recently it has worked correctly for me but now I have no way of knowing what is happening. When I activate the DCS setting of Synchronize cockpit controls with the Hotas, something strange happens to me, the throttle lever accelerates when I enter a mission where the plane is started (eg Instant Action: Ready on Ramp). I have to quickly hit the brakes otherwise I hit the wall. At first I thought it was a DCS thing but then I noticed that it didn't happen to other members of my group. I don't know if it is a problem with some winwing update but this didn't happen to me before.
  7. Today I received two WMR updates for OpenXR in the Microsoft Store. I don't know what this is all about.
  8. I don't think the problem is the software, Apple will try to do everything possible to open up the market in the PC (windows) world as well. The problem will be paying what it is worth and it will not be a problem either because there will be people who will pay for it as happened in their day with the iPhone. Whether it becomes the best and is like a fashion (like iPhone) remains to be seen, the time will tell it. Here the previous aspects that I have mentioned come into play to make it this way or another.
  9. I confirm that this is also happening to me on my AMD 5800X but instead of setting core 0 to 100%, as some colleagues have commented, core 2 is always set to 100%. I turn off this core in affinity and turn it on normalizes the situation, I don't notice a big change or stability when doing this, my frames practically stay the same (49-50 FPS). What I have noticed is, for example, the instant action, free flight in the F16, in the Caucasus, that when I start DCS for the first time, the mentioned core 2 goes to 100% and if I close the simulator, I return to the desktop and I open it again, in the same mission, I have an increase of 5 frames (from 50 to 55), also curiously core 2, although it still has more workload than the rest but no longer works at 100% . I don't know if it's a bug or what's happening but it happens to me 100% of the time. PS: My version of DCS is the latest (2.9.2.49940)
  10. Don't complicate your life, if you see that your vision bothers you, you may be forcing your eyes into an unnatural position. Try to adjust your vision with simpler parameters such as the align with the right or left eye or up-dowh align buttons. If everything is ok, it doesn't have to bother you after a few hours of flying, otherwise you have done something wrong.
  11. In my flight group we have been doing tests and the truth is that now we have done much better with more than eight people, the only thing that left me a little frustrated is that some people could be heard as if they were on Discord (without any radio effect, clean voice) and others were heard with the normal radio effect. I have no idea what this could be due to and what parameters need to be modified to obtain correct modulation. If anyone on the ED team has an idea why this is happening, I'll be all ears. Otherwise the communications were quite good (fading effects, noise, etc., except for those that could be heard clearly. Of course, we all had Discord turned off.
  12. Gentlemen of DCS, when you do not have evidence, please I ask you to use logic in your programming, it is easy to apply in this case, and do not program things crazy. Also, I don't know why they label all the messages that don't interest them as "needs evidence" when this simulator is not going to be used for military purposes, its only for entertainment.
