Safari Ken Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 I lowered my cockpit res to 256, which helped stabilize my fps, though I've sometimes thought to myself that 256 might be too low if the ABRIS was on a second monitor, which is what you have. It might be worth a try, though. Certainly in the normal cockpit view, I see no quality difference. Pay attention to what's on the Shkval when your fps drops. Before I lowered my cockpit res, I noticed that if the Shkval was near the horizon, my fps dropped dramatically. But with it set at 256, I haven't noticed that problem anymore. You have Water on Normal, which was going to be my first suggestion, until I finished reading your post. :smartass: Also, I have no experience with running a second monitor with this game, but I remember hearing something about a "phantom" third monitor that lowers fps, or something like that. There's a recent thread on the subject, should be easy to find.
