@MadKreator After hairpulling troubleshooting I got it to work in the Updated F-5E. Well, your profile works flawlessly, export didn't. The updated has a new folder name of course. Just copied over the patches from the old and I was good to go!

Yup I sent in a patch to Bluefin for the RWR. RIGHT_MFCD still worked for the radar for me.Must be there by default from ED.   Everything else  in the profile seemed to still work for me as well. If they un-encrypt the textures and EDM when they release the new livery templates, I will most likely go through and re-do the entire profile with the new graphics ( most of them) as well as add a night version as well. Will prob take a month or two, but if the stars align, it will happen

I will prob change up the “Keys panel” a bit too. I like my newer panels with the Comm ,brief, rearm etc ,contained within that panel. Then I’ll get rid of the extra keys and view buttons on the main page and move the location out of the center prob . I will keep the “Agressor MFD” as is though. I’m in process of updating the CH-47, and the P-47 profiles too but hit a bit of a wall until a couple Helios bugs get fixed. I need to do another tweak to the Spitfire profile too, but also waiting on the same bugs to get worked out for that. 

Always appreciate your feedback on these! Any suggestions for improvements are always welcome too

New version 1.0.3: Recolored cockpit to more closely match the F5-E remaster. Along with it comes a night version of the profile and a little bit of UI cleanup I recommend fully deleting the existing profile and images. Or at least make sure to " ALLOW IT TO OVERWRITE THE EXISTING FILES" when it asks. Download here:

*I forgot to put a couple of the new day images into the night images last night. Had them ready to go but put them in the wrong folder. Fixed this morning, same release number. If you download it again and do the first part of the install and let it overwrite it will place the new images in the folder. ( just the hook button and the select jettision panel).

V1.0.4- Adjusted viewport names to match, minor UI adjustments. Recommended to delete other F-5E profiles and the F-5e images from Documents/Helios/Images/Madkreator37 before installing the Day/Night Versions

Quick question. Is there a button to "hide" the overlay? Just noticed in CaptZeen's Huey profile, that it's possible. It's quite handy to quickly hide it if for some reason other apps are running beneath it and one doesn't have to Alt-Tab to the Helios control panel.

What overlay? Like Helios in general?

 

I’ll look at the Huey, I’m not sure what you mean, exactly

In Helios’ options you can disable the “Always on top” function , so you can use other apps on top of it, and it won’t always cover them.. I have never tried to see if it messes with the functionality though.

Yeah, I mean the Helios "image". In the Huey profile. To your left, there is an "outline of the cockpit", you can click directly on it for the relevant panels. Click "pilot" twice, and you will see what I mean.

@MAXsennahaha  just tried that.. I had no clue it did that. I've used the profile for many months now and have never seen that...  If its how I think it is, then yes its possible, but you would have to drag out an empty panel from the toolbox, make it the size of the entire screen, then select everything in the profile ( except viewports and the new panel), then ctrl-c to copy then double click into the new panel, then ctrl-v to paste everything in there. go back to the "monitor 2" or whatever and delete everything... then add a push-button that has an output bound to "toggle hidden", that new panel... Same effect as I did on the F-15E to switch between Pilot and Wso, only in this case its hiding the panel. Possible that it was an unintentional side effect.

- looking at the bindings its all done properly, just like the f-15e but i made the pilot/wso buttons hide when switching so you cant repeat the press.. inCZ's both buttons are still active..
give me a minute and I'll try it for you

No prob. You can  change the button images in the editor to the “generic button’ pressed and normal in the f5e files so it matches the rest of them , then add a label to it in the text editor..
